This fish was found in Wyoming, US, in part of the Green River Formation. As Knightia was a schooling fish, fossils are often found on a 'death slab', and the remains of another two fish can be seen on the slab. Measuring about 5" long (on a 5" by 7" slab) this fish is a very beautiful piece and is worth having in any collection.
